Welcome to Mystery Adventure Theatre - a weekly program that is a throwback to the days where the family would sit around the radio, roughly the size of a refrigerator & radiating nice, warm gamma rays, and listen to such programs as The Shadow.
However, in today's modern-a-go-go era of snarky catch-phrases and short attention spans, your average listener today is more likely to be sitting in a coffee shop, listening on headphones to a podcast.
None of which matters a whole lot. As long as you're listening and receiving the subliminal messages that will make us all here as wealthy as Midas. That's the important thing!
Mystery Adventure Theatre (or MAT, for short) deals with a group of diverse misfits; a spoiled rich kid, the mysterious woman he meets who gives his life purpose, an ex-mercenary who has a change of heart, the last of the hard-boiled detectives, and others who you will meet over the course of the series. This small band of underdogs have taken it upon themselves to bring down a vast conspiracy, one that has existed for perhaps centuries, that threatens to wrestle control of all the world governments under its totalitarian heel.
What we hope to accomplish with MAT is create a complex yet enjoyable universe that encompasses a healthy mixture of much-loved genres; action/adventure, fantasy & science-fiction, detective mysteries, horror, psychological drama, romance, and of course, humor.
